Our compressed gas leak detection service offers a roadmap for improvement

Whether you have a pressure or vacuum system, we come in with our ultrasonic leak detection equipment and find leaks as small as 1 x10-3 cm3/s. Learn more about how to stop leaks through our Compressed Gas Leak Detection Service >>

We hate leaks

Readers of our blog learn very quickly that Swagelok hates leaks. Oh, do we hate leaks. We built our reputation on the leak-tight performance of our signature Swagelok two-ferrule fitting. We've written about the high cost of leakage. We've explained some of the steps you can take to reduce leaks.

We even send out teams to track down leaks and eliminate them. Our certified leak experts have the tools and the expertise to check out your compressed gas system from top to bottom, spot the leaks, and help lower your utility bill significantly.

Whether you have a pressure or vacuum system, we come in with our ultrasonic leak detection equipment and find leaks as small as 1 x10-3 cm3/s. Each leak we find will be tagged, coded, or cataloged. All of our findings will be analyzed in a comprehensive report that includes the size, location, and type of each leak.

Roadmap for improvement

It doesn't stop there. We'll look over your system for potential safety hazards, misapplication of components, excessive wear, or damage. We'll take any failed components to our lab and analyze them to determine the mode of failure and identify any change in components that could prevent future failures.

We'll not only tell you where your system stands, we'll tell you where you should take it, and how to get there. This roadmap for improvement will include detailed recommendations for systematic energy-efficiency improvements, including the recommended time frame for each.

Full report

A typical report might run several dozen pages. It starts with a summary of the work done, listing the areas we looked at and an estimate of the cost of all leakage per year. It also spells out the highest priority leaks to deal with. Then the report gets into the details of each leak and what it is costing you.
