From nuclear to hydro-electric to thermal to cogeneration, no matter what segment of the power industry you operate in, we provide the highest quality, reliability, and performance—all backed by 70 years in the industry and compliance with key standards like ASME Section III and B16.34. Learn more and get in touch on this page.
California and Nevada companies engaged in generating, storing, converting, and conveying power turn to Swagelok Northern California for services and products that help them avoid vibration, leakage, thermal shock, improper installation, and other costly issues.
Swagelok's Bob Wilson describes the challenges customers face today and how we have evolved to serve customers with high-quality, readily available products, application expertise, and services that drive efficiencies and cost savings.
Whether your focus is design, production, or MRO, you can count on applications engineering by our industry veterans. That includes any drawings, substitutions, prototyping, and/or technical support that you may need.
Swagelok tube fittings feature a robust tube grip, leak-tight gas seal, and excellent vibration resistance—even in harsh or high-stress nuclear environments. Sizes range from 1/16 to 2 in. and 2 to 50 mm in a variety of materials, including controlled 316 stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance.
The patented case-hardening process and back-ferrule geometry provide excellent vibration fatigue resistance and tube support—even in harsh environments such as fuel processing or rotary equipment applications. Product Test Reports are available with extensive detail on performance.
Excellent sealing and consistent reassembly mean accurate measurements of process parameters—air, steam, fuel, and water—to keep your plant operating efficiently. Swagelok fittings minimize fugitive emissions, reducing risk and operation costs. Add installation training for max value.
The elastic, live-loaded design compensates for changes in temperature during system start-up and shutdown, and helps eliminate leakage related to rapid thermal expansion or contraction. In addition, simple installation, combined with consistent gaugeability upon initial installation, minimizes installation errors.
Swagelok tube fittings meet ASME B31.1 specifications and are available as nuclear ASME boiler pressure vessel code Section III, class 1 certified in 316 stainless steel. Swagelok Company works with standards organizations around the world to provide you with a product that meets your requirements.
Whatever your application, Swagelok has the small-bore and flexible tubing and hoses to form the backbone of your fluid delivery system. Small bore (up to 2 in. [50 mm] O.D.) tubing reduces the number of connections and potential leak points for greater system integrity. All Swagelok products are backed by the Swagelok warranty.
Get precise control with precisely the right valves, manifolds and pressure regulators. Choose from instrumentation and process valves and manifolds including: Ball, Bellows-Sealed, Bleed and Purge, Check, Diaphragm-Sealed, Excess Flow, Manifold, Metering, Modulating, Needle Shutoff and Regulating, Plug, Relief, and Stream-Select.
We supply assemblies and fabrications—from small form-factor to highly complex. Solutions can include custom wiring, automation, and third-party components. For example, we can provide protective heated enclosures for natural gas, combined-cycle power plants with heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), and other applications.
Improve safety and productivity with our comprehensive customer training and education programs. We offer a Swagelok Tube Fitting Safety Seminar, VCR® Metal Gasket Face Seal Fitting Installation Training, Tube Bending Training, Introduction to Gas System Components, Valve Selection Training, Valve Installation and Maintenance Training, and more.
