Eric Kayla returns on Aug. 22 for 'Back Pressure Regulators Made Simple'
Readers who have benefited from previous regulator webinars don't need to be sold on the expertise of field engineer Eric Kayla. He's one of Swagelok's roving experts on regulators, covering the western portions of three countries as he meets with customers and discusses their needs. But for those of you who have yet to tap into his expertise, here are some comments from attendees of previous Kayla presentations:

Kayla can deliver a lot of solid information in 30 minutes. Watch the video for a sample of what to expect, and then register here for the webinar.
Packed with facts
Starting at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on Aug. 22, Kayla will zero in on back pressure regulators. His technical briefing will cover basic theory and operation, then delve into the details of sensing elements, loading mechanisms, seats, poppets and other parts. In the webinar clip above, Kayla explains that there are times when a back pressure regulator is the proper component in a system, and times when a relief valve may be better suited to the job.
As with any regulator, it's important to understand what flow curves are and how to use them. Kayla will explain how to read a flow curve and use it to select the right model of back pressure regulator for a specific application.
One on one with Eric Kayla
Following the formal presentation, webinar attendees will get a chance to ask questions directly. It's a great opportunity to clear up any points of his presentation, or ask about a specific back pressure regulator topic. Kayla has also agreed to stick around after the webinar Q&A to take private calls. The phone number will be announced during the webinar. It's a perfect one on one opportunity to discuss matters that are specific to your application.
