‘Forbidden’ Light Wave Tool Could Lead to ‘crazy-fast’ Quantum Computers

A team from Iowa State University has developed a technique to accelerate supercurrents that may allow the development of incredibly fast quantum computers. Supercurrents are movement of electricity through certain extremely cold materials without resistance. The researchers have found a way to control them with Tetrahertz light.
